Buying a new San Antonio home from a builder

There are some affordable and beautiful new San Antonio homes out there if you’re interested in getting a bargain from the home builders. Many San Antonio builders are highly motivated to cut deals to reduce inventory, especially if the buyer contracted with a buyer’s agent who knows the knows the available buyer’s incentives and can advocate vigorously on behalf of the buyer.

Buying a home when it’s newly built makes a lot of sense for many situations, as opposed to purchasing a previously owned home that has the potential for draining a budget with repairs and a long to-do list after closing. With a new home purchase, buyers generally say they have a much higher satisfaction with their decision to buy the house than those who bought used homes. Why? There are several reasons.

Buying a new house reduces risk

When you invest in a new home, there is generally less risk of getting hit by unexpected expenses because you are purchasing from a reputable builder with many other homes and communities in most cases. In fact, you really just need to walk down the street and visit with other homeowners in the community. You’ll instantly get a feel for the the quality of the home, and hopefully, the level of confidence you can have that you are getting a reliable partner in the transaction. If you don’t want to have to worry about a hidden sub-standard repair you might need to deal with later, buy a new home, not a used one.

You’ll have less hassle with a new home

If you don’t want to have to deal with common things like caulking bathtubs, repainting walls and ceilings, and waiting for contingency contracts to pan out (believe me, that can take awhile and is a major deal-killer), then you really have to consider purchasing a new home rather than a pre-existing home. Because the builder has been through this routine many times before, chances are it will go easily and quickly. However, with private party transactions, you are much more likely to have delays and costly mistakes along the way to your closing.

Avoid all that by purchasing new San Antonio homes from a qualified San Antonio home builder instead.
